Southern rock music-lovers will welcome these outlaws with open arms. Formed in Tampa, Fla. in the early 1970s, The Outlaws developed their own high-powered, guitar-driven, country-rock, complete with self-penned music and three-part harmony.

As leaders in the genre known as southern rock, The Outlaws have:

  • Earned a reputation as a great live band, lighting up the clubs from Macon to Nashville and honky-tonks throughout the southeast.
  • Released numerous albums, including “Diablo Canyon,” “Lady in Waiting” and “Bring it Back Alive.”
  • Enjoyed repeated chart-toppers, including “Green Grass and High Tides,” which reached number 13 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

The Outlaws’ current line-up features original band members Henry Paul (vocals/guitar) and Monte Yoho (drums), as well as Chris Anderson (lead guitar), Billy Crain (lead guitar), Randy Threet (bass/vocals) and Jon Coleman (keyboard/vocals).

Following the show, the party continues with more great music and dancing.

The Alaska State Fair announces that Frank Iarossi and his band, The Good Life, will now perform after The Outlaws at the March 7 Cabin Fever Reliever concert at the fairgrounds. Iarossi replaces the originally scheduled Ken Peltier Band, whose lead singer is currently undergoing treatment for throat cancer. The Good Life promises to put on a good show, complete with five decades worth of country music, classic rock and blues, as well as original tunes from the band’s three CDs. Press Release
