Speaker Schedule

Plan to attend the 5th annual Alaska Garden & Art Festival.  This event features hands-on workshops and demonstrations, children’s activities, food, entertainment & garden-related vendors. Attendees can also visit the beautiful Fair gardens, where they can ask questions of senior Fair gardeners.

Would you like to know more about composting? How about worms? Or maybe when to plant tulips? To let us know what gardening subject you would like to learn more about or are interested in, please email Sarah ASAP and we will attempt to find a knowledgeable demonstrator or speaker.

A cornerstone of the festival is the line-up of presentations by both local and nationally known gardening experts. This year’s festival features keynote speakers Jeff Lowenfels, whose gardening column has appeared in the Anchorage Daily News every week since 1976 & Jennifer Bartley, author of “Designing the New Kitchen Garden".  This is a summer event you don't want to miss!
