presented by MIX 103.1

MIX 103.1

Collective Soul burst onto the scene in 1993 and has been making music for nearly two decades since then, building a catalog of #1 hit singles and multi-platinum albums, and winning the hearts of fans the world over.

Hailing from the city of Atlanta, Georgia, Collective Soul shot to international fame with their 1993 release “Hints, Allegations and Things Left Unsaid,” which included mega #1 hit “Shine” and went on to achieve double platinum status.

Seven more albums have followed, including 1995’s self-titled release, which became Collective Soul’s highest selling album to date, going triple platinum and spending 76 weeks on the Billboard Top 200 charts. Album after album and hit after successive hit ensued, including #1 hits “Precious Declaration,” “Listen,” and “Heavy.” Collective Soul’s “Tremble for My Beloved” was also featured on the soundtrack to one of the hottest movies of 2008, “Twilight.”

Their career to date culminates with their most recent self-titled release – and the band’s eighth studio album – which came out in 2009 and features the radio smash, “Staring Down.”

The members of Collective Soul include Ed Roland, Dean Roland, Will Turpin and Joel Kosche.
