Terms and Conditions
Thank you for your interest in the Vendor Food application for the 2020 Alaska State Fair. The Fair dates will be August 27 through September 7 (Labor Day).
The deadline for applications is 4:30 pm, December 25, 2019. No applications will be accepted after the deadline. No deposit is required.
Ground space is rented by the frontage foot, with a minimum of ten feet. Depth is dependent on location; anywhere from 15’ to 30’. You must have your own self-contained food unit and comply with all federal, state, and local laws including licensing.
The 2020 prices have not yet been established.
The Fair chooses replacements for vendors of the previous year who will not be returning, or adds vendors if an expansion is decided upon. All applicants will be informed of the result early in the year.
The goal of the Fair is to offer fairgoers a wide variety of good food at a reasonable price. When reviewing applications, attention is focused on food service experience, simplicity of preparation, cost to the fairgoer, booth plans, and especially the menu. Include these topics in a cover letter which will explain why your operation would be attractive to the fairgoer. Please make sure your application is complete, you may include pictures or any other information.
