Whiskey Myers
Known for their high-energy live shows and unique sound described by USA Today as “a riff-heavy blend of Southern rock and gritty country,” multi-Platinum band Whiskey Myers is gearing up for their 2024 cross-country tour, which includes a trip north to the Alaska State Fair.
The genre-bending band’s recent hit, “John Wayne,” was the No. 17 most-played Americana song of 2022. But the song certainly isn’t the band’s only accolade: Whiskey Myers’ previous self-titled album debuted at No. 1 on both the Country and Americana/Folk sales charts, at No. 2 on the Rock chart, No. 6 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart and No. 3 among new releases.
In total, Whiskey Myers has sold more than 1.65 million albums and amassed over 2.25 billion streams, in addition to earning six RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications as an independent band.
Since their emergence in 2007, the six-piece group has headlined their own sold-out shows from coast to coast at iconic venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheater and Ryman Auditorium. They’ve also performed at marquee festivals like Bonnaroo, Stagecoach and Download, and opened The Rolling Stones’ Chicago stadium show in 2019.
In addition to stages, the band’s work has been featured in Paramount’s hit show “Yellowstone,” as well as Netflix series “What/If,” Angelina Jolie film “Those Who Wish Me Dead” and CBS series “SEAL Team.”
