Very hardy, the 1’ tall clumps slowly increase in size with age. Mid-summer, they bloom with the deep maroon flowers held 6-8” above the foliage. Bloom time lasts and lasts, giving you plenty of time to enjoy them. There are several varieties of Astrantia that do well here, this is just one example.
